OBS WAS ACTUALLY FUN! :):) You really wont know what youve been missing if you have never been to OBS.

I was all: WTF!! How come like that, I totally dont know anybody!

BUT GUESS WHAT, you guys were actually right! RAFFLES ROCKED (L)
Without those fantastic people, I would never have made it the whole 5 days.

Day 3 was the best cuz we went kayaking... for 6 hours round Pulau Ubin. Hancong was too pro. Hahaha kayking with him was like being in a speedboat, we unknowingly kayaked in front of the navigators, so many times till they got really pissed. After a while we gave up kayaking to the front and spent all our energy kayaking left and right, banging people's kayaks and gripping on to the ends, turning them 180 degrees till theyre facing the wrong way. Extremely fun and funny if you were us, but not very fun if you were the ones we banged/ turned around cuz everyone around us seemed to be having a tough time, puffing and sweating madly. Mad funny cuz after a while, you can hear everyone screaming at hancong and trying to siam but not being able to siam. Then we started kayaking normally and before long history repeated itself cuz we overtook the navigators again, sigh.

Cien and Li zhen were the best! HAHAHA. There was this part near the south china sea where the waves were really horrible and the kayak was so hard to control till everybody wanted to die. (And the two poor girls w/o guy partners wanted to cry)

Somebody: EH where are you guys going!
*Cien's and Li zhen's boat spins to the left and out of control*
Cien: MALAYSIA! Malaysia! We're going malaysia!
*Cien's and li zhen's boat then spins to the right and out of control*
Somebody: EH it's this way!! Where are you guys going!!
Cien: SINGAPORE! We are going back to singapore!!

Everybody despite being in different watches were so nice to each other, very heart warming. But in the end it still boils down to your partner, so I guess I'm really lucky! (L) After the 6 hour kayak, you can literally see people dying and gasping... and peeing in the sea.

That night was really horrible cuz I was terribly sunburnt and my brain prolly got overheated. Plus I had to cook and the fire, the lighters and the hot sun made me in such a bad mood I was silently fuming. Ended up with all the guys helping and cynthia feeding me oranges while I was bending over the fire lmao. Didnt bathe that night. Really gross and you can feel mountains of salt on your scalp, tent was smelly ttm.


Day 4 was the best too cuz we had a 7 HOUR TREK. And I was carrying: 1 cooking pot, 12 metal mess tins, jack knifes, 2 2L water bottles, solid fuel, lighters and my whole big bag of happy food. DAMN HEAVY but we all made it!! Guess which group went the long way (alot longer mind you) and reached chek jawa first. Guess which group did 2 missions, while every other group did only one and still reached camp site 3rd? :) Raffles rock!! (L) Calvin was damn nice cuz he was singing beside/behind me the whole time to boost our spirits and kept us going. And xinzhe can make you laugh until you cannot walk LOL. And near the end point, yong jie, the irritating sweeper, was pushing my bag to make me go faster. Slicing through the jungle was the ultimate worst. Cuz we had to hack the branches and climb uphill, very hiong.

Today when I carried the bags I brought, it totally felt like nothing. Such a big accomplishment cuz I was struggling to even lift it up the first day! Bought watch tee and had watch teabreak at JP when we arrived back.


This is a very brief entry and a total understatement of how much fun we had there, plus I missed out the cooking showcase on the last day where cyrus's speech made everybody laugh till they cried, the night walk on the 3rd day where we had to walk alone for a period of time in the garden at 10pm and jia jin was whispering my name all the way and all the brief happy moments I had. *secret*

Mui sock was fantastic cuz she was the one who packed the camp bag we both shared and the only arranging my stuff properly. Li zhen was so responsible and everytime we had like tasks to do, no matter how tired she is, she'll def do it one lor. Yi en was damn joke and wai mun likes snuggling up to others when we're sleeping in the tent! The guys showed you what true gentlemen were, the girls literally had no heavy tasks and stuff to carry all thanks to them.


However, though OBS was fun, I dont wish for it to be longer cuz its really damn tiring to wake up at 4/5 am every morning, pitch tents, unpitch tents bleh. Being the very unfriendly girl I am, I may not be greeting them when school reopens, but raffles was awesome whilst OBS lasted :) Time for school to reopen again, gotta get used to everything again. Sian MATHS TEST.
